Background
A young working couple, started developing Curry Sauce about fifteen years ago. This helped save time for weekend entertaining. It took them nine years to perfect the combination of tomatoes, coriander, ginger, chilies and other ingredients. The result was a versatile sauce that answered their dreams, and dreams of countless other working and busy spouse and single people. And, it is also the answere for millions of curry lovers around the world. |
In September of '92, they introduced their sauce at a late-afternoon party.
The dishes, from hors d'oeuvres to entrees, and pakoras to samosas, were all cooked with Curry King. The highlight of the party was an appearance by maestro Ravi Shankar, the acknowledged master of the sitar.
"I love the sauce," said Shankar, who revealed this was the first time he had ever endorsed a product.
